The Supreme Court just ruled that the water vapor and carbon dioxide sustaining life on earth are pollutants. That suggests a way of ridding us of these buffoons.
The Supreme Court rebuked the Bush administration Monday for its inaction on global warming in a decision that could lead to more fuel- efficient cars as early as next year. The court, in a 5-4 ruling in its first case on climate change, declared that carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are air pollutants under the Clean Air Act.
Here’s what they’re talking about:
Water vapor constitutes Earth’s most significant greenhouse gas, accounting for about 95% of Earth’s greenhouse effect…
Water vapor is 99.999% of natural origin. Other atmospheric greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), and miscellaneous other gases (CFCs, etc.), are also mostly of natural origin (except for the latter, which is mostly anthropogenic).
Of course CO2 fueled the photosynthesis producing the paper the Supremes’ ruling was printed on and the food and oxygen that sustained them while they cogitated. And water vapor (produced by burning gasoline or hydrogen) is even more useful (my ellipsis):
It is clear that carbon dioxide is one factor that influences climate. Without the greenhouse effect it (and water vapor) create, the planet would be a permanent ice ball and there would be no life as we know it.
So here’s the deal. Pop these folks into a water-free sealed chamber, drop it to -10 degrees (Centigrade, since they prefer international metrics).
And leave them to eat sand.
