Hamas foot soldiers will be reassured to learn their leaders will fight to the last man – excluding the leaders, that is.
The call to battle:
In response to Israeli air strikes throughout Gaza against its infrastructure, spokesman for the armed wing of Hamas, Abu Obeida, said that Israel could forget about kidnapped soldier Gilad Schalit if it targets senior army or political officials in the group, Israel Radio reported Saturday…
And in case one human shield isn’t enough, the Hamas Supreme Command has a plan:
In an announcement released on the group’s Web site, Obeida said that the renewal of terrorist attacks against Israel ‘was only a matter of time’ and that Hamas was planning to kidnap more soldiers.
So whacking the entire Hamas leadership would be a good thing – no more kidnapped Israelis, and the Hamas foot soldiers could find safer employment.
