Brown Gets The Ague

Malaria was quite common in the UK until quite recently – Shakespeare called it “the Ague” – then better public health wiped it out. Facts don’t stop the warmenists though.

The UK is to be hit by regular malaria outbreaks, fatal heatwaves and contaminated drinking water within five years because of global warming, the Government has warned the NHS.

Outside the tropics, malaria outbreaks need sunlight on the stagnant water, so if you get rid of pools of stagnant water, you’re fine.

If getting hotter really were to cause it, the disease would be rife in hot places like Virginia, as it was at the time of the Jamestown Settlement. But it isn’t.

This misinformation is more likely greed than ignorance – Brown’s government is in deep financial trouble, and needs to scare the Brits to paying even higher taxes.
